Oooer - I've been paid up for quite some time but can't find any confirmation on the event list - other than some mail from PayPal to say they have my money

Would some kind soul check up and update me - or let me know what event I have paid to attend?

....when is it again...?

Cheers,
Si.

...I'm paid up to be a spectator....

Ken - you have a PM on its way \:D/

...while I think on.... The tyres on my Mk1 almost certainly won't survive Brunty unless I drive too sedately (and that wouldn't be right [-X ) so I'm going to need new tyres on or very shortly afterwards....

If there are no tyre fitters going on the day (and reading the sites/threads there doesn't appear to be) would there be enough interest (and time) to invite one?

If not - are there any suggestions from people for places close to Brunty where I could take my Mk1 afterwards (...or before if I plan to be really bad  ) or even mobile fitters I could call and book them to come to the track?

I'll be looking to fit four Yoko A539 or Eagle F1's at 185x60R14 (depends on when I sell this car)...

Cheers,
Si.

Ok. I must have my thick head on here! I'm not interested in taking my '2 on the track (or doing passenger laps); just turn up for the 'meet' side of things and to enjoy a day of watching various mad Toyotas.

So...is it just a case of turning up on the day, and paying my £5 at the gate?

I'm trying to drag some friends along as well, and as they can't give me definate answers, don't fancy paying in advance if they can't make it.
Mk2 NA Rev1 -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev2 -*- Mk1 NA -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev 3 = all gone!

Mark and I are paying on the door, so yep don't see that as a problem.

Excellent - thanks Lauren. Just checking just in case someone wanted numbers of the non-passenger-spectatorers! :D

No worries. I don't think it matter numbers wise how many spectators there are from an organisers point of view. Will just be a case of handing some dosh to Marcus on the day no doubt.

We only live 30miles or south of Brunties, and we got some 539s from our local tyre place for about £40 a corner.
http://www.southamtyres.co.uk/ - if you wanted to arrange something with them.

Speedy,
Cool - thanks for the info. As it happens I was at Bolney for all of 90 seconds and thought it an idea to go with absolutely legal tyres (rather than what was on there which passed an MoT - but I wouldn't like to argue it with a Policeman/woman).

I fell over a place locally that had four A539's in stock so I got them fitted for around £40 a corner.

Thanks again though,
Si.

Heh - Right, I've paid up and am going to be there with the Girlfriend driving the Mk1, and me in the Roadster :D

I'm hoping to finish off fixing up the rust on the Mk1 a little this evening and tomorrow morning - at the moment its covered in battleship grey POR-15 and has a number of holes in the bodywork.

By the end of this evening, it should have mesh and fibreglass over all of those, ready for filler and paint tomorrow - assuming it doesn't rain today (!)

Am very much looking forwards to the day now ...

I should stop taking the p1$$ now, I'm quite looking forward to another ride with Anna! In the rustbucket of fun. If she will still give me one...

ooer, that sounded quite rude, where's the 'digging myself out of a hole' smiley? 8-[

I'd like to have a look at the results of that POR15 too, Ben.

I am feeling quite confident for a change - the madcat "kelly" has done about 70 miles on full boost without falling apart :)

If anyone can fight Dino out of the passenger seat they are welcome for some laps :)

I suppose I really should take Lauren out - but im too nervous in case i spin :)
