Wow

Allan you aint going to be sleeping much this week. You have been doing a fair bit of work there and still have a bit to do.

This mounting a camera on the bumper sounds like a great idea and i can't wait to see the snaps and a mic in the engine bay is another good idea.

Look forward to the results.

We are now only a few days away :D

Everybody remember the cameras

yup. forward planning is wasted on me lol #-o

the mic will be in the carpet on the bulkhead cause I canny be bothered to go through the bulkhead itself and I think the cabling is a bit short too. The camera cabling is there for the bumper mount but the mounts won't arrive in time so either bodge it onto the bumper or fit it into the cabin on existing mount.

As long as the car has oil / water and I've got some cash for petrol I'll be there.

Hi all

Just a quick update, I received a text tonight from Ali and his dad to say that they are going to join us on the Sunday at Ullapool to do the run. :thumleft:

Ali will be taking the yellow peril (Mk2) and his dad will be taking his red Mk2.

Anyone who is on the recent Aberdeenshire run will know these guys. They are meeting us at 8.30 in Ullapool. :thumleft: :thumleft:

Hi All

I just had a phone call from John Light to say he has done his back in and at this present moment can't bend to tie his shoe laces so we may well have a space for someone.

John has a single bed and breakfast room in Ullapool and a travel lodge room in Inverness booked at present. He does hope to be able to make it but may be struggling.

If anyone is interested and wants to fill in at last minute let me know. I can confirm for sure in the next few days.

What ho, peoples,
What route are you taking up to Huntly on Friday?
We're heading out from Lancashire early - wondering if it might be possible to meet en route..
Assuming car is fixed. The funny noise detected on the way back from Dorset last weekend turned out to be a collapsed wheel bearing.

Look forward to seeing you all,

We are leaving Durham with the following people

Jinxy
Max
Saj and Gemma
Carl and Bev
John Light

A1 all the way to Edinburgh and meeting Gordon and Allison just the other side of the Forth bridge, planning to meet them at around 1pm.

We will meet you at the same place if you like. Today I need to investigate exactly where we can meet.
