Oooh that's a nice looking car!

Forget buying a second hand set, they just don't come up for sale and if they do they're either sold in seconds or fetch close to retail price anyway.
So new you're looking at £375.99 inclusive of vat.
Fitting is something you can do yourself even with limited mechanical knowlege. Allow 2-4 hours all in.
Spraying. What spraying? No paintwork needed. The plastic shrowd is finished in black as pictured above on the white car. (My old car!)

Plenty of people have fitted these to mk2's valued between £2k - £10k
I wouldn't say it makes a huge differance whether yours is a £2k car.
You can always sell them on at probably 75%+ of their original cost.

Good value, well made and improves the aesthetics of the front of the 2, instantly.

Nice mod to do to any deuce. At the end of the day it's you car mate, you have a blank canvas. Anything from bodywork to engine conversions. At the end of the day if you sell you car it's something you can swap back over and get some money back.

Hmmm...I don't agree, try buying the four light units and manufacturing the housings and shrouds to the same quality standard as Rogue has for less money...the light units on their own cost £200 for the 4. So £175 for the housing, shrouds and the developement that went into it is a fair price I think. See picture below for what comes in the kit.

value for money???

Post by steve---o »

i have to agrree that these are a bit pricey but after fitting them to mine then i think that it changes the look of the car altogether when the lights are on!!!

i think that the lines of the front end are totally ruined when the stock lights are up about 16 foot in the air, rogue have done a fantabulous job in developing these for the 2 and in my opinion its money well spent for sure.

even at around £300 second hand which does seem expensive as new they are only £375, but bear in mind the fact that they dont really have any components inside to wear out apart from the lamps themselves.

The other thing to remember is that these are a performance upgrade, I have fitted Raybrigs to my 2 but have also driven one with the Rogue kit. Raybrigs are a huge improvement but the Rogue setup is better again, plus the reduced drag, looks and the fact that these are legal (strictly Raybrigs aren't). The 2 I drove had been modified to make all four lights work at once though.

And the light focus/beam itself is an improvement...

...especially with HID's. 8)

Yes but your lights are on when its dark...... so who gets to see those lights that arent 16 foot in the air  (unless your a poser who takes pics in the daytime with the lights on)

They do look better than stock but i personally think its a mod you would do when you've run out of things to mod on your car.... or for people with to much money :thumleft:

Rules me out...

Out of interest how much lower are they than stock lights?

Aerodynamically speaking?

What does fair/decent HID cost?

Can one run higher power lamps in both units?

Harry is Steven Hawkins of IMOC Aerodynamically speaking?

For those that think Rouge buy the hella lights for £200 a pair then I have a spare reality check in my tool box

There Hella 90mm units that are £92 pair to the public trade price I would have thought will be cost + 10%
