Golden Hind sounds fine. Never been, but I think I know the one.

The only pubs I could think of are in Granchester (2 minutes from junction 12 of the M11. Me and the missus love the Red Lion. It has a big car park and the setting is very nice. Would have thought Granchester is a bit more central to where everyone is coming from?

Nah, Grantchester is nicer than North Cambridge any day :)

So, where was everyone then?
The only ones that turned up were myself and Robb Shipp.
Still, we had a real good chat about 2s and a quiet drink in the pub.
Maybe next time there can be a few more :)

aaah crap, i didnt realise we'd agreed on tuesday :S
sorry about that, i shouldve read the thread more, ill definitley be there next time, i was lookin forward to seein some other 2's and their pilots :thumleft:

Did you got to Granchester or Milton Road? We never did decide officially!
I had a last minute work commitment so couldn't make it. Sorry guys.
Why don't we start a proper thread in Events for a Cambridge meet. Could be a monthly thing?

We ended up at Grantchester, as it is a nicer area than north Cambridge :)
I would certainly be up for monthly meetings.
That was one thing we chatted about the other day, and the idea of a Sunday afternoon meet was brought up, that way we could take photos without having to worry abough fading light :)
