Silver MR2 in Cambridge

Spotted yesterday about quarter to six, not far from Addenbrooke's on the ring road.
Very nice two in silver with a rev 5 spoiler and other body kit (pretty sure it had a Border bumper).
Followed shortly by a black two heading the other way to me (so I didn't get to see much of it).

I work in Huntingdon with two guys who have Tubby's (Chr15py and FozzyRev3)!

Can't say I've seen that many in Cambridge, though. Shame, really.

Sweet. How do peeps feel about a mini meet next week sometime? One eve in the week p'raps. Last time we met at the Exhibition in Godmanchester which has a vast car park and is close to a few nice spots for photos too.
Think we had five last time, myself, mattcambs, chr15py, fozzyrev3 and another whose name I forget.
Could easily be up to 15 though as there are 3 coupes and at least another 3 uk rev1 and 2s within 8 miles, not to mention 4 tubbys which are regularly parked up in the same spots though I dont know their owners.

What you reckon? Could you organise with Chris and Fozzy at work Matt?

I live in Saffron Walden, so if you guys fancy going down to Cambridge, I can go home first after work and then meet you all in Cambridge later in the evening. Also, I'm sure that would be better for the chap from Newmarket?

Is yours the white one Mark? Im in newmarket (have a black rev3 turbo, not the one with 5 spoke 17s but with split rims and tinted windows). Havent bee out in her for two months due to a gearbox failiure, but you might have seen me in my dark turquoise Rover 220 turbo hatch or Yellow MGZR turbo(converted).

and yeah i've seen your car, theres two black tubbys about in town and i heard one of them was hit by a BMW the other day, so im hoping that wasnt you lol

Spotted a very nice red rev 3 (or at least thats what it looked like) at the roundabout next to the Beehive centre in Cambridge yesterday about 5.45pm on the way home from work.
Anyone here?

One possibility for the pub could be the Golden Hind. It is very close to the A14 and has a decent sized car park as well as outdoor seating.

CB4 1SP

Easy to find, just come off the A14 at the Science park exit and head into Cambridge. Pass the science park junction, and you will see it on your right at the next large crossroads.
