Suggestion - don't do it, it's annoying.

People go to JAE to look at cars and enjoy themselves, not to have other people's music forced upon them - JAE have their own radio station anyway.

If you want to pump the tunes bring headphones or expect the wrath of others.

OMG slated for a joke and 'obviously' a ridiculous suggestion any way !!!! .....lol forgive me for thinking that i would disturb people while looking at cars . ICE is a major part of peoples interests and having some one dj is far more interesting than playing a cd. wont bother then.

Thats your opinion mate. I think it would be good to have someone there with some decks for an hour or two anyway.

Not all people that go to JAE are old and boring after all! :P

If you are on your way to the JAE 05 perhaps we can get a midlands convoy together, it would really help me because I am a directionally crap & would prolly get lost.

Yes mate that would be a good idea, will have a chat when i see you on the 6th !

Sorry if this has been posted.
But........How much is it to get in?
£15-£20 per car I have heard.
I can only make the Sunday this year.
Do we have to pay to park in the club stand area? Are the numbers limited on the club stand?
Just wanna get an idea of overall costs and who Im going to bring etc etc.

Thanks

Can't wait for this year, last year was class but the camping arrangements got a little erm confused, was funny to see loads of people carrying tents around on the Saturday morning.

Don't think Jims flare went down too well on the Friday either, the woman in the nighty certainly wasn't impressed.

Hi everyone,

Claire here, organiser for JAE.

Let me confirm a few points.

Tickets
On the day Sat/Sun is £10.00 per person
Fri/Sat/Sun is £15.00 per vehicle, inclu camping.

If you're coming for the day, you can park on your club stand. There will be three gates, Clubs, Traders and general public. The public will park outside of the showgrounds and enter by foot :D

If you have any questions please do not hestate to contact me at [email protected]

Being a car enthusiate myself (Nissan Skyline) I understand the importance of keeping the event for the clubs, so any feedback you have please let me know.

Cheers
Claire

Hey,

Who's the IMOC person in charge of a stand / space / tickets?

Assuming I've still got a working car, I'd like to go as part of IMOC, so let me know who to pay etc.

Typically I've organised our presence at the JAE in the past. This year I'm sharing the responsibilities with the rest of the admin team, so please send your enquiries our way!

Map location for those who use sat-nav to get there:

000º19'06" W
052º32'36" N

The co-ordinates above are directly in the middle of the showground, but there'll be signs local to the ground to show the correct entrances, etc.

It would be nice to know the size of our IMOC plot this year. JAE2005's plot looked a lot smaller than JAE2004's, although this might be down to the way the cars were laid out.

Cool, I'll be there from Friday night I hope. Not sure if any of my mates are coming, but it would be nice to meet a few fellow IMOCers for some beers and bbq grub! :)

Yep camping both nights.

Will be booking friday off work this year so I dont have to put up the tent in the dark. :)

I would be happy to spend a bit of time for the club manning the T-Shirt stall or whatevers required, let me know.

Regards,
Phil

PS we got to know billings quite well, any news on the new location ? is there a supermarket etc nearby ? We might travel light then pop out and get stocked up local.

I must say Im appalled by the increase in £££ for the entrance fee.......Billing was £6. How can they justify £15?
IF I go then it will only be on the Sunday. I will have to see how much money I have. :x can't believe it really.....
