Hi all! I've just picked up my first ever MR2 (cough formaly a vaux man cough) and loved every second of the 45 min drive home! I'm addicted to it.



It's a rev 2 turbo i think. Does anyone recognize the number plate? I'm very curious as to why it says wet celery at the bottom of the plate.
She's done a lot of miles but runs sweet as a nut. Lookin forward to some dry weather

Any advice as to any common probs i should check out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark.

HaHa! What a numpty i am. The plate is H799 DFG.

So is rev one a good or bad thing? I've heard the rev3 has larger front brakes, is this correct?

rev2 onwards had larger discs and revised suspension all round.

is it a good or bad thing, only rev1 owners could really tell you that, quite a few have upgraded there brake system.
