You want to do Japshow but then say you'll break it if no buyer soon.

A car like this will take a couple of months to sell Earl, hang on in there...

That was the plan Toni, but needs must. :(

I realise it will take a good few weeks, maybe a month or two to sell it, but I simply don't have that sort of time. I need the cash, so it's looking more likely that it'll be broken. Not what I wanted at all. :(

To be brutal, you will probably make more money back by breaking it...

But its loads more hassle, plus you have to dismantle the car on your drive etc. Much better to flog it whole at a good price, at least it can be driven away then and the car lives on IYSWIM.

You must be having a nightmare EarL for it to come to this. :(

Half way house? I took off the obvious bits I could sell easy on my Skyline and put them back to standard, then sold the car cheaper (and quicker). The parts I took off plus car went for more than I was trying to sell the car whole.

(in your case, the CF parts are most obvious on a sale or swap with standard).

I agree with Toni, change the CF bits, the headlights, and the rear wing back to stock, then flog those bits. You've probably increased your sale chances and not affected your price (which to me seems in the £9-14k bracket). Ultimately the old cliche applies of "it's worth what people will pay".

Try and take your time, it's hard for people to just 'come up' with £10k at the drop of a hat, it usually requires negotiated with your boss (my missus for example!!) then arranging finances, etc etc... hang in there and sell the whole car if you can!!

to be honest breaking an mr2 is a piece of p1$$,

u can just sell the engine with the shell

wheels off, suspension off with hubs, all interior out, lights, body pannels, exhaust off as much as u can strip down

then sell the engine in the shell

Deserves a free bump IMHO

Awesome car - did some time reading up on it and just love the fact it makes that power with only a bar of boost.....speaks volumes on the tuning philosophy behind it.
