[Mk2] [NA] Newbie with a colour question?

Hello there,

I'm new to the board (be gentle) and also new to MR2 ownership as i've just bought my first MR2 today !!! I'm well into the RS scene and have been for twelve years now (i currently have a 1986 D plate Series 1 RS Turbo and a Fiesta RS1800) but have always fancied a MR2 since my mate bought one seven years ago. One came up local to me in good order and for the right price with just the spec i wanted (Mk2, UK car, N/A, Rev 2, T-Bar, leather, A/C, sensible miles with good history) and it was also the right colour which leads me onto my first question which will probably one of many!!! I was just wondering what colour the car is as i've been looking for the name of the shade and i understand it to be Steel Mist Grey but on some of the sites it says that this colour was only available on Turbo's. Can anyone shed some light please???

Check my garage, if yours is the same colour as mine then it's definitely steel mist grey and you chose the best colour

AFAIK that colour doesn't just come on the turbos.

Colour code is stamped on the vin plate in the frunk.... if you try a search I'm sure you'll find a thread where all the codes/no's are identified. If the code says thats the colour then I'd say thats the colour...
