I'm selling(might end up breaking) my 89 mk1 mr2.
Bought this car exactly a year ago and has been 100% trouble free started first time every time and has been a dream to own. The reason im selling as im a poor student and being realistic i cant afford to run/own this car, also the cars MOT ran out on the 4th of august i put it through and it failed on.Front brakes imbalanced
Brake pedal rubber missing

(temp fixed)and the rear offside handbrake in-efficient
also one of the rear calipers bleed nipple snapped on me, so this car would be perfect for a 1.5 big braked project.
The chassis has been re-welded and is solid and has recently had the floorpan waxoyld, the paint on the exterior is far from perfect and is done out of a rattle can but the rear arches themselves are solid, the rest of the paint could do with a good buff. new parts iv added.
New full toyota oem exhaust system.
(covered 500 miles)G-max 30mm lowering springs all round
(covered 2k)New Mintex brake pads front and rear
(boxed)New Toyota rear droplinks
(went to the mot station and back)New rear ARB bushes and brackets.
If sold separately i would expect
£200 for the above parts.The car itself both handles and pulls well, strong 5th gear and has covered 123k, Taxed until Jan 08 with a some attention/cash will be a stunning car its also a perfect blank canvas for a 1.5.
The car can also come with 7 Teardrop alloy wheels in wanted the car also comes with all the extra's sunroof cover, mudflaps ect. Really is a great car and i really hope that someone buys it to avoid me breaking/scrapping.Other faults with the car are Passenger window switch wont go down, go's down on the driver's controls and up on the passengers but not down.

During very heavy rain you get a leak at the passenger wing mirror silicone should sort it.
I'v been as honest as i can with this advert and anyone who has any queries or would like to view the car is more than welcome.
Wheels have been painted black with a red lip and a 11x8 front numberplate added sinc ethose pics.
I'm hoping for
£500 but open to all sensible offers or even a part exchange for a runabout with long'ish MOT.thanks for reading
