Starting point will be Scotch Corner and drive over to Penrith for lunch, the return journey will be done across the superb A686 which takes in the Hartside Moor Pass; Voted one of the best Open Top drives in the country, fantastic route as many motorcyclists will confirm, fantastic scenery and fantastic roads. Half way stop at the "Hartside Moor Cafe"; one the Highest Cafe in England ...... http://www.visitcumbria.com/pen/hartside.htm So more or less a full day job, but hopefully a most enjoyable day.
Weather so far is looking not too bad, and the more cars the better it will be.
