I wouldn't. Yours is broken, and dirty. =P~ :eye:

Really nice looking example there Neil. Bet you're well chuffed mate. :thumleft:

What replacement wheels are you going to fit? :-k

lol cheers - the wheels will hopefully be exact replicas of the originals. Just trying to sort out all the details, costings etc. should finish it off as it should be!

cheers! must admit i didnt enjoy the shipping wait, the beer advert of the crate being dropped i especially didnt like  it made it without gathering a mark which was great though!

Lovelycar. I read on NVI website that he was sourcing a TRD and was wondering who it would be for :thumleft:

Cheers again! Kept it quiet untill i knew the car was in the country and safe!

Nope, they dont do these in 17" so looking at getting some made.

Are you trying to say they don't make Work Equip's in 17"? They definately do mate, I've seen some in the flesh, and I think Frank had a set briefly too! Ian Smith has a set for sure!

Those ones in the pic are lush, wasted on a Skyline though IMO, doesn't suit [-(

Keep an eye on these guys, they do refurbed 2nd hand wheels. I bought mine from them thanks to Edwin so can recommend them. They have a set of Equips already although the spokes seem pretty thick on these and are white...

Cheers Leeroy

Unfortunately work discontinued the 17" and 18" sizes about 18 months ago (just spoke to envy). they now only do them in 19". Will just be the problem of matching up a set with the correct offsets if and when a set come available.

Cheers for the link though!

They are such a nice wheel!

hmmmm, may be another project for Tom

Cheers for the link Bry! only problem again is getting the right size and offset

17x7 +13
17x8.5 +7

not seen a set even close to these offsets so custom made may be the only way forward.

I managed to buy a set of TRD alloys Neil, but I could never get anywhere near the offset I wanted even with spacers, so I resold. :(
Bit like this:
http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f58522445

In nearly a year of looking I've never seen a suitable set...to tie me over just bought a set of Ultralites (think I mentioned it to you!) dimensions being
17x8 +22
17x9 +7!

TBH the rear rubs a little on the bounce...and the fronts rub a little on full lock (partly due to the fact R888s only come in a 45 profile for the front!). When I order my custom set I'll be going for a slightly higher offset on the rear, possibly +12 or so as I think that will fit better. The fronts are OK really though. :thumleft:

We must meet. :) BTW, what's the interior of the car like? Standard?

Yes toni definately, i think i may have another person interested in the custom set. If we have 3 then thats a good start for negotiating a good deal.

Forgot to budget for the alarm/immob though so will have to wait a little while. Maybe aim for March of next year.

The interior is immaculate rev4 cloth - but the trd seats are so tempting!

This car is going to be expensive!

Neil, you are one lucky fella!! that car is absolutely stunning, thanks for inviting us along mate when you collected it on Saturday, could tell how chuffed you were. Was also great to finally meet Tom at NVI, what a great guy, been meaning to get down there for ages, I also had the privilige of a run in his TRD Spider Turbo as well, couldnt believe my luck when he let me drive it, spent the rest of the day buzzing. Went away to Santa Pod after all TRD'd out all too much excitement to handle for one day, lol.

The photos we took have come out absolutely stunning, I wont post any until Ive sent you the CD, and we will be at Tatton on Saturday to take some more when you've given it a good polishing, future MR2 Only cover car for sure :thumleft:

Do you TRD owners manage to get them insured as a kit car? Just preparing myself for when Toni finally gives in to me.
