[All] [Generic] Manifold Facing

Does anyone in the liverpool/wigan/manchester area know anyone who will machine the face of my exhaust manifold? General advice is "it'll be about £20" but when i phone around the local companies in yell.com I get "Cant be bothered setting it up, takes too long"?!

Bloody thing has warped by about 1.5mm end to end!

I've got a 7 and 9 stud stock manifold for sale if you're interested in replacing rather than refacing?

Depends on the price and postage really, you're not anywhere near me for pickup lol, actually a 9 would be nice as my head is from a 9 stud MR2 and I only ever had a 7 stud fanimold which was annoying. I'm also a little worried as to the fact that mine was perfect 2 years ago but is now warped to bu88ery. I've just been given a recommended machinist so I'll call them and get a price tomorrow - I'll post back with the quote and see which is the best option - cheers for piping up!

Cheers for the offer but Ive managed to find a good knowledgeable machine shop near work that has offered to do it for £30, 2 day turnaround - thanks for the help though.

When i showed it to him he said "christ, how has that not cracked?! Thats way out!".
