Just thought of an easy way to tell if the wiring has been changed.

Check the gearbox for the speedo sensor if it has a cable on it its still rev1 if it has wires on it its rev3.

This then posses another problem if you do need to do the loom and ECU co`s you will need to get these working once you swap to rev3 electrical speedo.

Thats a very good point. urgh another problem another headache to think about.

Recently did this with my rev1 N/A to rev2 tubby conversion and with a little help from Patrick at Rogue I got it sorted.

Just been looking around the engine bay and i do infact have a lambda fitted. My bad on that one,it is quite hard to spot in the position its in. Thats a big big relief although a CO reading of 7 suggests its faulty.

Also had a look at my rev 1 engine loom and its totally different. Theres no way this engine could of been fitted without changing the loom is the conclusion ive come to.

So,its come down to the ECU. Now docs ECU has 4 plugs but mine only has 3 I cannot find any other spare plugs hanging around that might fit the 4 plug ecu.
I really really need someone with a rev 3 N/A now to take a photo of the ecu and its plugs.Im wondering did they fit 2 different ecu's in rev 3's?

One last thing,if the Lambda sensor is knackered would it alter the idle speed?
