The North West area is pleased to host the Mk1 Club pitch at the Tatton Park show on August 18th & 19th. See below

The 20th Tatton Park Vintage, Classic & Sports Car Show with Giant Cheshire Auto-jumble

Over 2000 Vintage and Classic cars with up to 90 top car club displays including special events for the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club and Alvis Owners Club. Massive 2-day auto-jumble, collectors car mart for selling or buying the cars of your dreams.

We have twenty tickets for the weekend, and are looking for Mk1 owners to attend. There will be a barbeque, drinks and snacks courtesy of the NW people.
1st and 2nd place trophies will awarded for what an independant judge deems the nicest Mk1. (Sunday only)
Camping is available and recommended! Tickets admit two people and car.

If you are coming in the 2 and want on the stand then the free car pass allows two people in the car in as well.

it's around £6 on the gate for the public.

yeah - PM me your address details and I'll get a pass out to you.

mk1club will allow any mk1 to park on their stand, obviously fully paid members get priority, but if there are spare passes which we have for this, then no probs.

Looks like we should have 15 to 20 cars on the stand each day!

Im going to be over there on the Saturday representing MR2 Only mag, as Id been invited by Neil on the DC area, I didnt know the MR2Mk1 Club would be there, so Im sorted for a ticket, I had planned to camp but had forgotten that its Mallory for the MR2 Challenge on Sunday!

Unfortunately not sure if I will be in an MR2 and at the rate Im going will be peddling there by push bike, hoping to get the mk1 fixed as thats the easiest fix, then I will be flitting around taking photos on Saturday, lets hope the weather is good!

Will be planning to just mull around for the day and look at the classic motors, get some photos of the MR2 areas for the mag, so no doubt I will be hanging around both stands throughout the day, see you there

LOL - you have to make it fair and do a day on each stand, as you know you are always invited on the MK1 club stand

Id originally fancied camping, and being there both days, as I only live 45 mins or so from Tatton Park but forgot its MR2 Challenge on Sunday at Mallory, and Ive already got my tickets, and have a couple of interviews lined up! lol

Always nice to feel welcome though, if theres a space for the MR2 Only Mk1 on the club stand that would be great! See you all Saturday!
