My new rev 3 turbo!

Post by dawolf »

Hi all. Well here's my new white rev3 turbo. I really like the way it looks, nice but not OTT. The car seems in very good straight condition. Just has a couple of niggles like a couple of dents in the driver's bottom sill and a small spot of rust which can be sorted. I might just add some sideskirts to hide the dents and I think they would go well with the lower front bumper.

All comments appreciated.

Ahhh! So that is an Autopista front end!!!
Do you know if its a genuine one? I might have the word 'Autopista' imprinted on it somewhere. I have that on my rear. All the copies don thave it (AFAIK)
You really need to look around for some autopista side skirts for her mate. You can see the front bumper hangs lower than the rest of the car.
I will take a pic of the side on mine so you can see what i mean.

Good looking motor! :thumleft:

And if you ever decide to get rid of the front bumper....

Well it has Autopista etched on the bumper. I'll have a look for some sideskirts and possibly something for the rear bumper too.

Means its a real one then! Guard it with your life my friend. Rare as rocking horse poo!

This is a copy of the Autopista spoiler but looks like the kit was only really meant for Rev 1 & 2.

I found that the TRD spoiler and the Bomex front complimented the rest of the kit nicely.

Hmm, not too keen on the autopista sideskirts or rear valance. Looks a bit too 'stuck on'. The spoiler's not bad.

Agreed. Kaminari/Aeroware sideskirts could look good if you like that kind of style, or GReddy skirts for a more oem look 8)

TOM's skirts could also work although you'd ideally need the rear bumper too with them.

Looking good matey :thumleft:

nice looking car, like the wheels too, and the best colour.
i would have to disagree thought the autopista skirts skirts are the best looking side skirts made for the mr2 if you ask me, love the way the curve round to follow the wheel at the back.
