K reg Rev 2 1993 GTS Turbo Black

Hi Guys,

Just looking to see what kind of interest is around for my car I cant afford to keep her at the moment and am looking to sell her.

I have only had the car a few months its a black Rev2 1993 K Plate GTS Turbo, standard pretty much with a HKS Ind Kit and a FET Turbo timer has after market Allloys with X4 Dunlop Tyres and the usual ABS, PS, steering fog lamps etc please check out my garage for pics of it and any offers welcome taxed for 5 months MOT just ran out 4 days ago i spent 3k on this one as it was a un-abused tidy and clean car great for a project for you

Think you need to give more info though if you want to sell her - mileage, service history etc etc

The car is in KMH and it read 88k the car has 5 months tax and the MOT ran out few days ago the arial works also no leaks what so ever as for history there is not alot as the lad i got it from through sruff away thinking it wasnt needed (Polish) but i am the 3 owner since it been in the UK the car has a Momo Race Steering Wheel and a complete ashtrey along with a spare wheel and the boot carpet is A1 to if there is anything else you guys need to know hit me ill reply ASAP

What's needed to get the car through a fresh MOT?

nothing to my knowlegde the car is ok just cant afford to do it and my insurance was up last month

around 3k as she now has 12 months MOT i passed her through so taxed and motd

look under the front bonnet,
on the vin plate- there is loads of numbers-one should go like this (A/TM;-735/E153) the third no is a 5 in this example. if yours has a 5 here or a 3 then you have a lsd- easy.
im interested- but no way pay 3k- a mint rev 2 turbo with 4k of mods went on ebay for 1500 last week.
not sayin i wouldnt pay more than that but i couldnt pay 3k.

yeah but thats ebay full of dogs on there also i have recipts to show i paid almost 1k in new parts

new pass shock
new steering rack
new engine oil
new gearbox oil
new ht leads
new spark plugs
new rotor arm
new dizzy cap
new rear fog light
fresh mot
new balance & trackin on wheels
new brake pads

let alone the fact its low milage and not messed with or abused ive been offered 2500 with no mot now it has a years mot and new parts

i hate to possibly burst a bubble here but i think your car may be a rev 1. the strip of lights on the front of a rev 2 have a clear light in the middle.
have a look at some others here then go to the following web address.
i could be intirely wrong!!!! if so- im very sorry and would like to match the offer already made in cash as soon as i could see it.

No mate trust me this is my 4th MR2, ive never gone below a rev 2 which this is as its a 1993 K reg should of been an early L reg and with spending 3k buying it and 1k fixing it thats 4k, im not gonna sell her for less than 3 sorry if this wastes your time, to find a rev 2 unabused, low milage witn no stupid mods aint easy let alone one that has had alot of repairs to get it back to near top notch aint easy, you can try fleabay but most of dogs few of the lads from here sell there cars on there as a last resort only due the to low prices they get offered, if you wanna see how much mines worth check out my pics to see the car also ask around the guys on here are fab they wont give you no crap they will say direct how much they think you should pay n well when i priced it with no MOT and before i got the parts fixed i was offered 2400 straight away so im thinging with no work needed and a MOT i can get my 3 to least recoup some cash
