Is that an insult.
I know some people who seem to like my personality  :thumleft:

Just got back after a couple of days in Oxford. A bit bizarre looking out over all the floodwater on the way home in really hot sunshine.

A big thanks to all the organisers for an excellent weekend. Much hilarity was had by all I think in spite of the awful weather. An excellent first JAE/IMOC meet! Yana and I are very pleased we got an honorable mention for our balloon inflating skills - I'm just glad she thought of inflating them with a foot pump before we all burst our eardrums!

Fantastic to see everyone's cars and great to put some faces (and real names!) to usernames too.

Chris (Mk1Chris)... Did you ever compile your list of quotes? I can't remember many, but the one about Goliath does still stick in my mind...

Tim: "Chris, would you like to try some of my Goliath in you?"

Hats off to the members of the IMOC stand at JAE this year - OK so I know two committee members but they were still friendly enough to take a phone-call while one of them was driving (possibly frightening a passenger) to come and chat to me.

I talked to other members who were all very friendly and would chat about there MR2's all day. Tiamat showed me his horrendously LOUD exhaust and other members told me about their cars.

This was in comparison to other stands (that I won't name) who couldn't give a flying fook about whether I existed, even after I left my phone number/told them where I was and on a 3rd attempt could not even be bothered to talk to me! and "they" expect me to join their club - FAT CHANCE!

It goes to show why there was so many cars on the IMOC/MK1/MK3 OC stands, it had a good atmosphere and people were nice.

Well done all the IMOC members - who also did not slate the MX5 I own.

Oooh, I'd never slate an MX5...particularly a turbo jobbie. Drift drift baby...

Sorry to hear about the rest - might be worth giving them a break JAE gets very busy... :o But very glad you enjoyed the 'MR2 Village'. Buy one, you know you want to. :)

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
