[Mk2] [Turbo] Help me please PP bonnet spoiler

Maybe a crazy idea (and difficult to explain without a photoshopped pic) but...

1) Modify a bonnet along the lines of the Border but with one big duct instead of two. Preferably deeper than the Border item too.
2) Make sure the vents are cut out and the air ducted through it.
3) Across the rear/upper part of the duct, fit an adjustable aerofoil section like the PP spoiler, but set lower down so it is flush with the bonnet (until you adjust it)

Theory would be that the air flows up through the rad/vents, along the duct and then under & over the aerofoil section before exiting over the windscreen. Should do the same thing without looking quite so hideous...

Any photoshop artists out there to have a go?

Here is Juicing's mr2 he had the deep bonnet design,part of the ethos you
are discussing?,i think? :-k

Hard to see it from this angle but runs deep.Was it MDR or some thing like that who produced this bonnet? :)

It was MRD that made that bonnet but if i remember right it was around the £600 mark. Wish someone would make it in Carbon and at a better price......

You'd want to create a low pressure area over the vent to draw out more air. So you want the spoiler infront of it, just like on Lou Lou's car. Putting it behind the vent will be nowhere as effective in creating downforce or removing heat.

You may think it looks hideous, but i think it looks a lot better with it.

MR2's are too effeminate without huge amounts of kit on them.
