JAE MK1 Club Info:

JAE, East of England Showground, Northants
20th
22nd July

The countdown has already started for the largest MK1 club gathering at the biggest Jap Show of the year.

The planning of the

MR2 Village started back in January this year, and following the success of last years club get-together the Roadster Owners Club

(ROC), the International MR2 Owners Club

(IMOC) and the MR2 MK1 Club will be sharing a pitch again.

It is planned that each club will have its own display parking area, plus a group camping area at the rear of the pitch.

Upon arrival you can

sign in at the gazebos and pick up a welcome pack with all the details for the weekend; including your name badge, car window info sheet, schedule of MK1 Club and inter-club events, plus perhaps one or two other surprises.
This year we are having a Hog Roast
to tickle your taste-buds, along with a club BBQ to BWYB

(BBQ-What-You-Brung!) so you can socialise around the gazebos.

If you enjoyed the bouncy boxing last year, we hope to have similar again this time too.

The club shop will be there for you to

try-before-you-buy, and I will take orders over the weekend.

If you would like clothes ordered in time for the show, then let me know asap, and I can hopefully get then in time for JAE.

I dont hold stock and place orders on an individual basis.

There will be all the usual JAE events and entertainment, including the JAE tug-of-war competition.

This year we are hoping to get an

MR2 Village team together to take on the rest of the car clubs at JAE.

If youve got the muscle for this, then get signed up closer to the time on the IMOC forum.

If tug-of-war is not for you, but you have a nifty right foot, then get signed up for the inter-club five-a-side footie match.

The MK1 Club have won this trophy 2 years on the trot, so we are hoping for a hatrick!

Again, the organisation for this will be on the forum closer to the time, so keep your eyes peeled.

Our annual club show and shine competitions will be held on Sunday again, with the judging being organised and coordinated by last years winner of

Best in Show

- John Upsall.

If you want to enter JAEs show and shine event, then this normally takes place on the Saturday, and I will again receive a limited number of entry passes.

The entrants will be decided first thing on Saturday morning to get the entries made in time, so if you are interested then let me know at the show asap.

It will be great to see you all there again.
