My Black MK2 TURBO :-)

Post by razorsharp192 »

finally got round to taking some pics of my car so here goes:

Bought it in April this year, rev3 mk2 turbo, pretty standard apart from a hks induction kit, dump valve, strut braces and new vac hoses. I was looking for one as standard and unabused as possible. this is how it was when i got it:

I've been concentrating on getting the interior sorted since i got it, not done much on the outside. here's what i've done:

interior:
new momo steering wheel and visual performance dials, also delimited using the twosrus chip and adjusted the odometer so it has the correct mileage in miles rather than kilometres
Image

swapped the cloth seats and door cards for some half leather/alcantara ones
Image
Image

put the defi gauges i've got into a 3 pillar pod
Image

new stereo, (jvc touchscreen), wired up gauges to the stereo (measure volume, voltage and temp)
Image

repsrayed the dash in silver (including heater controls)
Image

fit 2 10" subs behind the seats in custom made boxes
Image

i've also hardwired my roadangel into the ignition electrics, customised an led gear knob (one that lights up the gear gate pattern) and wired it into my lights (looks quite smart, i'll take a pic), other than that i've just tidied up all the wires (was a bit of a mess when i got it).

done some stuff to the exterior, only slight mods though:

replaced the rev3 lights with black lexus style ones and had the alloys refurbished
Image

new emblem to go on the front (3 points if you know what it is :D )
Image

and a new number plate to match the badge :D
Image

and lastly a last couple of shots of the car as it is now:

Loving the interior, Not sure on the Offspring badge or the lights though :?

Each to their own I guess :thumleft:

:D it all ties in with the number plates you see :thumleft:

i replaced the lights because i wasnt keen on the rev3 ones, wanted to modernise the look and that was the only option.

Like what you've done with the interior although not a fan of the steering wheel or rear lights.

Front badge is not for my cuppa but a nice little personal touch there.

Good work. :thumleft:

Nice car mate. Been thinking of spraying my dash aswell. I like the look of silver so might give that a go in the next few weeks....

Nice car there but I have to say I preferred the look of it before you added your own mods  .

Lovin the guages under the stereo.  Really nice touch and must have been difficult ( hats off) but a bit of silver here and there doesn't quite look right.

Like the steering wheel too (alot better than the old one) and the pillar guages are alot better than the dash mounted ones. Shiney engine too!
