stock steering wheel referb ?..

Post by CosmosblueMR2 »

Hi all,

Does anyone know if Trimmers can add thickness to a stock steering wheel ?... problem with mine is that it's a Rev5 and so has a whacking great airbag in the middle of it so i guess removal of the steering wheel is not really an option..

So can a decent coach trimmer re-cover a steering wheel 'insitue' ?(spelling?)

I actually like my steering wheel just want it to be a bit thicker..

anyone know ?
appreciated...
cheers
Frank

You can certainly have an airbag wheel replaced with a normal one - as long as the lack of an airbag doesn't bother you! Quite likely to be cheaper too.

Not sure what the insurance implications might be though.
