Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Just say NO to small turbos!

Any updates on this then? Might go over and watch as a spectator and show some support for my fellow hairdressers =D> \:D/

You can't get black flagged at TOTB can you? :?

Just waiting for people to stop blowing their cars up or finish builds, we've got a few people who have put 12's in already though so there should be a fair bit of competition :)

10's would be nice though ;)

As for black flags, I'm sure you could manage it squire... even without a car.

Mitch, I've got about another £5k's worth to spend on the car to get it competitive, to sort out things like, brakes, suspension, turbo, tyres, gearbox, etc. All those won't make it quicker up the quarter or top speed (although the gearbox needs doing in order to be able to drive it properly again!), but are needed to give it a chance on the handling circuit.

Now, all I need to do now is land myself a nice new contract to be able to afford it! :?

Pah ! Stock suspension, stock brakes ! I would have had an even quicker time too if I didn't try a starsky and hutch move at the first turn ..... floor it ... and, turn, and realise 90 is not a good speed entering into some 140 degree turn ... ooops, ooo ya bu88er, opposite lock, cars out of balance, then another opposite lock ( counter ) - looked like ruddy pete at donington ... then thought, rollocks, put it down and deal with it, straightened itself up, then oo ya bu88er, out on the corner again !! ( okay , repeat that several times, then you have me the clown going round the circuit ! ) Very sloppy - thought, right - thats the worse, time to improve..... then it was like parking up on the M25 for another run #-o

Mental note - those 265's tyres were worse than the 235's Eagle F1's I run daily !!!

Mental note too... watch others this year do it !! Besides, I hate pushing my car !!

Dino, changing water hoses on such a busy day isn't cricket ! :eye: Then that grim reaper ( aka andy forster ) was lurking about !!

Hey, that guy got taken out in my car by Ian Ashton when it was up there! No wonder things haven't run smoothly since.

Right, I'll sort that out... (deletes Andy's no from his mobile!).

I honestly think I will have to pull out of the running for TOTB4 - I have to much on the go at the moment and I am not sure I want to commit to anything car wise for a good few months or have the stress of getting my car ready for the event. Thoyght it would be best to say so now rather than leave it to the last moment.

Cheers

Jeez, you were up early this morning! No engine built yet, pistons have been sent over to Chris Wilson to be machined. My car wouldn't have the spec or pace that you guys would have lol. Think i'll stick to my humble trackdays and drift events as that's what I built it for :)

If anybody needs a driver though
