I brought it back up as I don't believe Tim should still be here under ANY capacity.

Most people are lucky to get one second chance in life, Tim had 4 chances but still thought it was ok to find a loop hole to stay on IMOC. I won't go on...

He made his own bed. Your fighting a losing battle Ed, you're wasting your time and further damaging Tim IMHO.

You forget that as long as the forum rules are being observed then ANY thread on ANY subject can continue ad infinitum.

See "chatting chicks who dig skylines" (or something).

We can post regarding this issue as long as we are on topic. It's called free speech.

You are simply creating ammunition for everyone's bad feelings to feed off. If you simply let it lie, then the odd person would comment on this topic but generally it would die off. There will inevitably be people who have been away for a few weeks who need to get something off their chest, that's jst human nature.

Why not set an example?

The only thing that hasn't been made clear is *how* the committee was approached by Tim.

Everyone is angry that Tim alledgedly threatened legal action, but aside from Tim and the committee, no one know what actually happened, was the threat of legal action the first step, or the last resort after reasonable discussion failed?

Maybe Tim initially approached the commitee in an informal way? "Hi chaps just noticed that three warning results in the removal of my affiliate status, it's a fair cop, can I continue to post as an individual as per the forum rules?"

To which the committees reply could have been "**** off, you loser!!1!!"

Leaving Tim with no option but to take it further...

It's hyperthetical, but unless Tim and the committee agree to publish all correspondence, it could be how it happened.

I just think its funny how this thread would have been locked if it was concerning any other person, this can been seen all over this forum.

Ed.

Well lets consider that the end of it.

Please anyone else considering to post in this thread. Could you please think to yourself before your actually posting as to what it will achieve.. If you have any doubts in your mind please

DO NOT POST..

This is going around and around and to be quite honest i'm peed off about it...

Indeed - as has been posted before though, Tim would rather that we didn't, since as he has said, it was a very strongly worded email which probably wouldn't do him much good.

I can say though that we wouldn't have said anything like that, we would have pointed out that he had been banned, and as such, his access to the IMOC forums would be denied.

it could but seeing as Tim is teh only one preventing full disclosure it's not likely.

so yet again I say, the only way this will truly die is if Tim allows full disclosure

FULL AND UNEDITED DISCLOSURE

By all means add in motivations for what was said when, but show it if you're not ashamed of it. If he got told to bog off, we'd see it. If he threatened to close the club, then we'd see it. Until then there is no debate.

So far you all look like the minority. And it's taken a whole 4 pages to get so few names.

If there are around 7800+ members on the board and you want to put it to the vote then you have an awful lot of ground to cover.

Are you on another planet? :?

You and Rich appear the only two people who would vote to keep him in!

Can we put this to rest again please?

Its been revived, done the rounds - nothing more to say thats going to be new.

I for one would like to put the whole issue behind me.

Tim is not going to be voted out like this so lets drop that one.

The Committee will stand by their decision and my advice not to release the correspondence in repsect of this matter - though they can choose to do so at any time, as it involves them personally I have advised them not to.

No club funds were used to sort the matter - because I am a nice guy and gave my time for free.

Funds are now being used to stop similar events happening inthe future, so yes club monies that could have been used for JAE aren't.

Everything the Committee has done and are doing is for the benefit of YOU the members. Let them get on and do it.

From my time on the Committee I can tell you now that during all this serious thought has been given to shutting down IMOC either temporarilly or permenantly.

Each time the Committee has acted in the interest of all members and kept the Forums open. The Committee put alot of time into the Forum and continue to do so.

What has been done, has been done. Everyone needs to deal with it and move on.
I am going to live forever, or die trying!

Skinthespin your feelings towards another affiliate is neither here or there on this post. Although i have been present when Tim's contacted you numerous times to try and work out your hostilities and your total lack of understanding or ability to talk about your problems. There are a few member that have felt the same about Tim when he first joined but they are now supporters or use him heavily for parts and advice. They atleast talked about there problem towards him.

Tim messaged me once on MSN and I ignored it, that was it. I have talked to him in the past however many times about the problems he has, even in the beginning I gave him advice about presenting himself as a professional person, spell checks etc and simple things like that, he obviously took non of it on board.

I wonder if Rich would be so defensive if he knew the truth rather than what Tim has said?

Why does nobody listen? When even an ex comitee member requests this, isn't it about time you all took notice, instead of raking over old coals?

Not really, I'm not trying to come across as a professional whose trying to make a living using this form of communication as a means of doing that, when doing reports or presentations at work, or even just sending an e-mail I spell check it.

has Tim gone then? Who am I supposed to argue with now ffs?
