boost readings

Post by terminater2_uk »

Car just passed its mot so took it for its first quick blast.
Stock turbo gauge flew to the top so thats working fine.
I've got a blitz turbo timer with boost on there.
On tickover it reads -47 hkpa and the peak boost I reached was 57 hkpa.
Any idea what that is in PSI?

I have Blitz timer that reads in hkpa.
Tickover = -47 (ish)
Peak = 0.77

The peak boost of .77 is around 11psi
Not sure what the kg/cm 2 conversion is though

Come on guys....kg/cm is a pretty common measurement for boost.

0.57 kg/cm is 0.55 bar which is 8.1 psi.

I run 1.2 kg/cm in my MR2, your job is to tell me how much psi that is ;)
