1. i know all the rules for VAT regestration its £64,000 per year. I know Tim's turn over isn't more than that so lets not start wild rumours.............again.

2. Once again avoiding the question. You threated me on PM to make me look bad with the information i have just volentry releaced. Threats on imoc........never

3. that doesn't make any sence. I'm refereing to moderations made to members on this club. How does one become a member on the committee anyway because i don't remember voting for anyone.

(added) stop posting that i'm not interested. Do what everyone wants apart from a few trouble making members and lock/delete this thread. its doing no-one any good.

1. Eh? Where did that come from. You said that you hope the Tax man knows about us?
2. Again? Eh? I haven't threatened you at all. I was just concerned that you hadn't thought of the consequences, thats all. Fine by me, keep digging.
3. Other than Lauren and Ben, IIRC all of the current commitee (and even people who have left) were voted in.
4. Not interested? Sorry, you've lost me again.

I'd like to add - I'm not holding a gun to your head in order to make you keep replying. Presumably, you understand that if you don't like the way things are run, you can go somewhere else?

1. just covering my back as that was kinda left to peoples inturpitations.

2. Again, don't push us on disciplinary records, it certainly won't make Tim look good if it turned out he had already been issued with a formal warning...
Quote from PM Recieved by Speedy. That sounds like a threat to me instead of answering the questions which would have been "NO He's not done anything underhanded or posted negative comments" so you can't say he's not changed his ways.

3. If thats the case i appologise for a mistake i just don't remember seeing any member voting threads.

4. Look below your post, the repeating comment of going elsewhere. After this thread is locked i will be.

1. Er, ok.
2. Thats certainly not a threat. Again, see above as to why we don't release peoples formal warning information without their approval
3. I've been on the commitee since 2005, I guess it was from before you were a member.
4. Never said you weren't interested, just wanted to make sure than you understand than if you don't like the way things are done here, that you can go elsewhere.

ah roper a local lad, becareful mate they might think were the same person, lol but saying that its probably best you get a good read as i'll all be gone in the morning apart from the encriminating parts.

regarding #2 you withheld that information as you thought it best for tims reputation, man that is a first on this forum  But the main thing behind this question was that you said an appology was enough, Tim's done that but it wasn't good enough and shouldn't be forgiven if the offense is constantly repeated...................yes/no? Well this has basically proven that Tim hasn't returned to anything previous to his ban. So why all the hostility by the committee in previous posts instead of just locking this thread and us all getting on with life?

No i full understand about going elsewhere, but you've made it clear that you won't lock this thread until it blows up and turns abusive. So please let it blow up again and get it locked/deleted. The soon its gone so people who just want to cause trouble can't voice there opinions the better.

well looks like were finished for tonight.

For the ladies and gentleman following this at home the outlines of the last 3 page arguement are as follows.

Anna a former Committee Member and poking partner of Speedy gobbs off and comments in a negative manner against a fellow member, appologises and all is forgiven because it hasn't been repeated since. (no warning issued i might add) Yet when another member publically appologises for very similar past actions and its proven that these actions haven't been repeated since his return all's not forgiven its dragged out and he's publically discredited which will effect his personal life and ultimately his lifelyhood.

Forgiveness is a noval idea that should be entitled to all or is the commitee's opinion it just down to who you know and how good in bed you are

LOCK THIS DAMN THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Ed - I didn't realise this was in dispute. Alex and I are married - but that is rather off topic.
If you feel that I have been given different treatment because I'm married to a committee member, then i urgently request you to ask for other moderators/committee to verify his actions. To suggest that Alex would moderate this forum differently because of my post is a serious allegation, and IMOC take these things seriously. (and if you were to make that allegation but it was unfounded, I hope you'll apologise to him)

As for my outburst - I didn't realise that one persons opinion (which is what it was) was so important. I shouldn't have called Tim a 'rude word', but it would still be true to say I have little or no respect for him. I used to, but that vanished some time ago.
I have apologised for the name calling - like I said -i'm a bad person.

As for Tim being treated unfairly and getting formal warnings for the same - that wouldn't have warranted a warning. He got the warnings for repeatedly libelling other (more than one) affiliates. This was made clear to him at the time (as was the fact that another warning would result in a ban from IMOC-UK). If he wishes to reopen the reasons for his formal warnings to question them, then I suggest you ask him to take up the matter with IMOC, or if he feels necessary, his legal representative.

A bit strange you seem to think tim is the 'little guy'. It would seem to be the other way round to me.

Isn't it time you took your crusade for the little man elsewhere, using your efforts in a positive light for a better cause?

IMOC is run entirely by volunteers, without their efforts you wouldn't be able to post on here, and yet all this time you are continuously critical of the commitee & their actions as if its some kind of great conspiracy theory and yet they still allow you to post!

I suspect Tim (whoever he is), is only sorry as IMOC is a popular forum and a large potential market for tuning parts. Anyone claiming to be a genuine enthusiast would have let things lie (including silencing additional mouthpieces) long ago...

Hi all, I would like to start a public vote to ban Tim AND Ed for life. Can one of the commitee Pm me with how this should be carried out ie which section to start it etc. Sooner this "pair" are gone the better this club/forum will be for it.

PMSL, so the other people you reported in the thread who were not moderated are tres bien in bed. I'll let them know.

Enigma - its an interesting idea, given that most people will take a hint and leave, or will accept the consequences of their actions. I guess I'll flag it up to the admins and see what everybody thinks.

I think Leeroy started this a few pages ago,

So Leeroy, wanna start adding to your list?

PS, I find 'poking partner' as offensive as 'muppet' and 'dick', plus can I report poor spelling as this offends me also..........

morning all, first time i have found the need to make a reply to what as been going on for what seems an eternity.however i find the post made by ed, about anna and speedy way over the top.i have never met anna or speedy, but make no secret of the admiration i have for all of the people who work so hard to keep this great club up and running.i also don't know tim but he as admitted his wrongdoing in all of this.i would suggest if he is so sincere to put things right and to do good things to compensate,he should take up a position as a missionary, in some far corner of the world, where he will be truly appreciated.and i am sure ed you will make a good spokesman and baggage carrier.paul.

well for what its worth I cannot see anything wrong with the way speedy has handled this situation.

I get on really well with Tim so to see this situation is difficult for me to swallow but imo Speedy is right
