So rev basically means an updated model? WHat year is it?

In the UK (and Japan) we tend to refer to the different Revisions - see

http://www.formesyn.com/mr2t/mr2tfaq.ht ... tification

Gen1 / 2/ 3 I've seen used in the USA much more, but can cause confusion as people talk about 'Generations' of the 3S-GTE as well as the Mk2 itself.

Are you going to get it registered? See my thread on http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/ForumsPro/viewto ... rt=45.html as I reckon you can register these despite them being less than 10 years old.

Given it is now possible to register R34GTRs newer than 10 years I'd say you've got a good chance! You just need it to be fairly standard, which it does look...

Someone paid for the model report on the R34GTRs I think, plus a limited amount (50?) were sold officially in this country.

Wrong and wrong.
1) no model reports for R34GTRs have been granted, and none are needed to get through (I know, I very nearly imported one only a month or so ago)
2) 80 actually, and before the current regs.

It wasn't a statement of fact hence the 'I think' and 50?

So how are they getting in?
