im sure im gonna get shot down here but i think that pp front spoiler looks terrible. like a skatebord stuck on the front. theres gotta be better ways of getting downforce than that.

people will laugh at you in the street and youll be constantly trying to explain what it is and what it does..

apologies to anyone that has one no disrespect intended.

Truth be told most will only be fitting it for looks as most will not require such extreme measures to gain downforce, myself included :? I don't find the front end all that floaty except when corning very very fast, even then it isn't all that bad :thumleft:

I am looking for more front and rear down force, but I am a fan of the spoilerless-sleeper look so I am doing some research and planning into some different methods of getting some additional down force.
But I have to admire the brute force method of this spoiler!

two big thumbs up!

I have had one of these (in fact I may have sold Bibbs it, not sure :-k ) and chaps - don't do it. Aside from the fact it interfers with the MR2s lines, it looks crap in real life. It's miles from the bonnet, and there really was no discernable difference with it on. All it did was obscure the nose of the car for me making it harder to park. Oh and make people point and laugh.

In summary

As above!
Harry why not compliment your existing downforce mods and invest in flat underbelly for your 2 instead 8)

Harry,

If you're going to do anything, fit a carbon front splitter to the bottom of your Border front with adjustable support braces. That'll look the ballz mate. :thumleft:

Leave the bonnet spoiler for the BarryBoyz.

Looking at a flat bottom with a rear diffuser with my exhaust moved to a more suitable location, some other bits and bobs to do with under and over body flow to get the car a bit more stable.

Hi Harry,

You could always buy another rear wing, chop down the supports and fit it to the bonnett, or a Border wing on the front!! :-k :-k :-k

If anybody defo wants to do this let me know and we will
