Anyone interested at all? I thought that it was a good time to sell, and a good price. Still had no one come view it at all!

Ah well!

If I was able to part with my N/A (i.e. sell it immediately) then I'd potentially have this off you.. Unfortunately funds don't allow for me to buy a car and sell mine- Selling mine can't come first as I need it to drive to work every day :( Dammit :pale:

[Edit] Reading the fine print, I'm put off by the 1-month MOT it's being sold with! I imagine a lot of other potential buyers are in the same boat! If you can, get it slapped up with a 12 month ticket!

Unfotunatley I won't be here in August, will be out of the country end of July, however I can get the MOT done if I have a serious buyyer in mid July before getting off.

Thanks for the advice! :)

The patches were on the sides when I bought the car, the passenger side patch has come off, my nephew pulled it off, under that side is ok, will fix back on with some glue, but am sure that it is probably covering wear on the drivers seat, as thats where the most wear accours most.

The gearbox is fine in all gears, with the exception of the second I suppose, it does crunch a little, but not too bad.

Another thing which has occoured just recently the temperature needle doesn't rise fully, it moves slightly!

Any more questions, please feel free to ask.

Unfortunately, I imagine a lot of people are being put off by the temperature gauge not operating fully. This can be a sign of major engine problems (HG failure).

It looks in top condition though, good luck with the sale

Just got off the phone to Rogue, I got told that it sounds like it needs a new thermostat. To change it, they have a fixed price including fitting, part, labour and VAT £69.99. I don't want to spend anymore money on it, as she is due an MOT too. But if needed I will have to!

Any offers, gonna start getting desperate.

I really didn't want to do this, as I don't have the time, and find myself pushed into it, am seeking advice on the matter that I may consider breaking it for parts. Can anyone advise me!

Yeah Rash, thanks man, it was a silly thought, as I don't have the time to do that. So it is still on as a complete car, its easier to sell one item than 100's! Thanks again.

Guys, really need for her to go by the end of the week, as I will be going away at the end of this month, and don't want it to sit in the garage! Make me an offer!

Have a few offers in the region of £2.5-£2.8k, which at that price is a steal! But would consider that with my situation at this moment in time. Ah well, you win some and you lose some! I just lose em! ](*,)

Car will be getting an MOT

Post by ali_asam »

OK GUYS! LISTEN UP. I've made the consious decision to get the car MOT'd before sale. So rest assured the car will have MOT, hopefully by the end of the week. So no more worries guys, as this was an issue for many of you folks, well have no fear.

I might poss be interested in it if my car sells on Sunday when somebody is coming to view it.

Whats the situation with the temp gauge are you having it repaired or what?

Are the roof seals good?

Unfortunatley the temp gauge is not going to be repaired by myself, but has been confirmed that it is a small issue by Rogue, hence it has been considered in the price, as it has been lowered. The roof seals are ok on the passenger side, but only droplets of water leak in to the car if not treated with silicone, which it regularly gets, hence no leaks.
