mail is a fantastic system when it works!!
sadly low pay attracts low motivation, which promotes poor service!!

Well, thanks very much to whomever organised this! (Who did organise the club stand there by the way? Was it Bob? ) It was a great day out and my Dad enjoyed it - which was one of the main reasons for me going (it was a very busy weekend...). Though it's not as good as the Silverstone Classics weekend, it was still very good and may help make up for me not going on that one this year...

Time for some photos! Sorry, I didn't take many during the day, very few of the club stand and very few of the supercars... but plenty of Russ Swift's display (well, it was a quality show - third time I've seen him live, first time my Dad's seen him and he was quite amazed)...

But, yeah... relatively few photos for me for a day out which I kinda regret now... next year! :)

Kevin, really sorry but you'd already left by the time I went back to the club stand to get photos of it. Does anyone have photos of the stand with all the cars there?

For the first time that I've seen, MR2s were one of the rarest cars there on display - even outnumbered by Lambos and Ferraris... :D

So, without further ado:

Started with the 300Z club in the ring:

In the short break between when the guy did his doughnuts (as shown above) and his little blast below when they were stationary for a minute or two, she was looking a little green...

Bling. This was quite a polished up engine bay - but scarily not the most polished of the 300Zs!!!

The club stand (we were one of very few clubs with a flag! I think only the SXOC and MX5 clubs had one too - and the same for the gazebo!) is highlighted. This image is larger than the others if you click on it - to allow for a bit more detail.

:thumleft:

We couldn't hang around that late ourselves so missed some of the later events; but then a lot of people (in general from all the clubs) disappeared relatively early - maybe to catch the GP? :)
We wanted to make the most of the journey back and go B-roads back home, splitting the driving - it was a brilliant way to end the day.

Oh, and topless all day... quality!

Great photos Max :thumleft:

I think Dave got some as well, I'll try and get those up at somepoint...

I dont think I've ever seen so many exotics in one go before!

My only quibble with the show was the catering.. we got our bacon rollsin the morning easily enough but by lunchtime there were hour long ques for for the two catering wagons... and then some farmer turned up with a beer tent, but he was only selling savage cider or even more savage ale  ...

Apart from that it was a good day out.. thanks to Jo for the tickets and to the chap (sorry didn't catch your name) who organised it.. Russ Swift was amazing, the loudest car competition was fun to watch as well, I'd recommend this one for next year!

Cheers
