The best Rev4 Turbo in the country

Post by RedWitch »

Unfortunately it’s time to sell my beloved Tubby. I’m moving abroad with my job, I don’t have enough parking space at my new UK base and Mrs M is expecting a baby in November.

This car is probably the finest example of a Mk2 revision 4 GT turbo T-Bar in the country and is in mint condition!

Imported 11/2005 through NVI with 48,000km on the clock, graded 4-1/2

1 careful UK owner (besides NVI)
Sonic Shadow – mica black metallic over silver
Speedo derestricted and converted to 180mph
Currently 37,600 genuine miles
MOT due 11/2007
Taxed until 05/2008
Average fuel consumption to date 24.2mpg
All paperwork since import is available

Standard spec: ABS / PAS / TRC / AC / EW …all the usual stuff!

Very tastefully modified, in excess of £5,000 spent!

Boost @ 1.2 Bar
296fwbhp

Grade 8 plugs (Denso Iridium IK24) fitted 05/2007
Oil & filter change every 6 months (Mobil No.1 5W-40)
ARC cold box induction system
HKS SSQV vent-to-atmosphere BOV
Dastek Unichip & boost module, fitted, remapped at Noble Motorsport
HKS ignition amplifier
New starter motor fitted 04/2007
Fuelled with Tesco 99 or Shell V Power since import
No oil, water or air leaks, no smoke
94.6 Dba @ 4,000 rpm (quite loud!)

Suspension, wheels, brakes -

Miscellaneous -

PACE / hybrid chargecooler kit, never fitted. This comprises a good condition, used PACE core, new pre-rad, new uprated Bosch water pump and new hosing. I’m looking for an additional £500 for this kit. Will sell separately if not wanted.

The car is currently registered on a personal plate which I will transfer before the car is sold.

What’s wrong? There is a scuff mark at the base of the front splitter and a very small scratch near the fuel filler cap.

Available mid-July, also advertised elsewhere

Price: £7,850 ono

Hi,

You are saying that the car was built in 09/97 and registered in 1998 in Japan (which would make it a late rev4). How did you manage to register it in the UK?

Rash - that's correct.

I have all of the import paperwork which shows the car was imported correctly.

Nice, apart from the wheels, back end light treatment and grotty engine bay - not quite the nicest example in the country but it's OK I guess.
