Cheers for the offer spittinflames but those little inverters won't be able to power a 1600w hair dryer I don't think.

It should be ok now... she's decided that she doesnt't need a hair dryer on a camping holiday after all!

Well, I've got everything piled up in the hallway this afternoon ready to go in the car tomorrow. God knows how it's all gonna fit in.

Well the party really did get started last night!!

Shane and Susan arrived from Scotland about half 2 and then 10 mins later all the Moffetts arrived in the Lucida support vehicle!

We spent a few hours getting all the stickers on the cars and they look top notch to say the least......

Then the beers came out the barbie got started.

Rolled to bed about 12 last night and up at 5 to finish packing ( and make the brekkie )

Meeting John Light at half 9 on the A1 and thats it, a convoy of 4 cars heading to Maidstone, we should be there about 4pm. See you all soon, have a good trip down.

Went to change the dizzy cap and clean air filter yesterday ready for the trip. I got halfway through (ie everything was off) and got called in for lunch by the wife, so I shut the engine bay to hid the tools on the engine.

Came back out after lunch and the lever was totally slack and I couldn't open the engine bay AAARRRGGGHHHH

So after frantically removing the boot lid to get access to the locking mechinism I managed to get it open again, only to find that nothing appears to be wrong. so re-assembled everything and then found the boot wouldn'd latch closed AAARRRGGGHHH (Again)

Anyway finally got it all lined up and locking. Then I had to pack it all up and get it ready to go which meant that I was out polishing it till 10:00 last night

So drama over I am now all ready to go except for a few small bits and bobs.

Anyway take it wasy all, drive safe from were ever you coming from and I look forward to meeting you all at the docks in lees than 24 hours

Regards
PaulM

Hi guys,

I'm heading over to Le Mans on thursday with some friends but sadly one of our party has had to drop out.

We're now trying to sell his ticket on.
I'm assuming you guys are organised enough to have enough tickets already and you're probably not going to see this msg tilll after the event but i thought i'd post anyway.
We're looking for face value ONO (about 55 pounds iirc)

Anyway have fun - might see you there!

WOOHOO... \:D/

Just got back from the le mans trip! 8)

It was an awesome holiday and I had a great time. I've even got a nice tan to boast about.

Only downside was having to drive the 10 and a 1/2 hour journey home with my exhaust cracked in two halves! My ears will take weeks to recover.

Big thanks to michael sheavills for organising the trip and I reccommend it to everyone for next year.

Pete.

Hi All,

Wow what an experience that was !

I would like to than Micheal for arranging all of this, Shane for the stickers on my car, and everyone else for letting me follow them about as my sense of direction is worse than useless (and Alex, cause when he was a passenger he was giving me directions)

Alex I am glad you made it home in one piece mate, did you get the pipe changed yet, I cant believe your exhaust split AND your windscreen broke man thats bad luck

How good did Alex and Lees cars sound in that long tunnel on the way down I couldn't here my stereo at one point

Anyway, I have finally caught up with all the outstanding work fram the last couple of days so I thought I had better post some piccies up.

All these are from the digital camera as my 35mm ones havent been developed yet

At the camp site Mine, Lees and Alex's cars (with Alex Lee and Braddas Mansion in the background)

Hi Guys

Just got back today after my Belgium jaunt.

The trip was great. Managed to cover 2467 miles in the 2 weeks.

Thanks to all on the trip whos company really made it for Susan and I.

Thanks to Michael and Joanne for the hospitality shown on our stay over and guidence on the trip.

Sorry to hear of the further bad luck Alex. Never mind there is always next year.

I see you all have some great photos up. I need to get mine done and will post some soon. Mind you paul should have enough for us all as he was always snapping. Good luck in Oz when you go.

Hope to catch up with some of you again shortly on the Scotland trip.
