My new mr2 - Small project

Post by **toyota-mr2** »

I have just sold my rev 3 turbo and I miss it so much. I had to sell to free up some cash to get into property tho. Anyway I was offered to buy my m8s mr2 rev 2 turbo which had cambelt failure so I decided to go ahead mainly because I did not want to see it get broken for bits.

The head was taken off before I got the car and I was told it had damage. I ordered a new head and got it skimmed, new seals etc.

I also got:

Gasket set
Uprated head gasket
Water pump
Cambelt tensioner
Cambelt idler
Cambelt
New oil
New filter
+ more

I got the car back a couple of days ago and I managed to get out today to give it a polish and a hoover.

I am going to give it another polish because it needs it. The car was sat for 9 months before I bought it.

Anyway heres a few pics:

I plan on changing the wheels after the mot :D

Doubt I will be selling it. Its the exhaust I had on my last 2 mr2s and I have not seen better yet.

Whats up with your exhaust?
