[Mk2] [Turbo] Enrico's new Cadilac

Post by Enrico »

Hi all, some of you may remember me from when I owned this beauty
Image

Circumstance forced me into a very sad sale, when in need of a cheap motor I got this.....

Image

When the inevitable happened & it self destructed (or maybe it was too much boost)!!!, I moved on to this.....

Image

And, now, finally coming full circle I am the proud owner of this...

Plenty of modifying to be done, but giving nothing away yet, let the fun begin!!!!

Lovely car if it is and like the new one too, white looks so bloody shiny, it's not fair

Without a doubt the best revision in the best colour with the best roof. If I get another one it will be the same.

Yes it has :) I bought it a while back on condition that I tell no one about the Rover!

Nice to see you back matey, the car's running well. Was up at Rogue about a week ago for a full service.

She hasn't changed much, I had a new windscreen put in (that repaired chip was driving me mad) and the wheels have been refurbed (look better than ever).

Ordered some Do-Luck bumpers and Greddy sideskirts (still waiting). And after seeing Edwin's Advans decided to copy him (all silver though) and order a set instead of going for Rota GTRs.

You going to put white/cream seats the new one? :thumleft:

Hi David, I hope you are looking after her? Any recent pics?

deadhumancollector - as David said, yes it is, I hoped when I sold her never to see her again, sad I know but too painful!!!

Well, got a few things in mind. She is mostly standard, but has got a different turbo & external wastegate, so will be doing supporting mods to ensure she doesnt go pop!
Also not a fan of rev3 spoiler & lights, so changing to rev 2 lights smoked & Autopista spoiler, like yours.
Different front lip, wheels & exhaust & then take a rest & she how she goes from there!!

I came so close to bidding on a white rev3 tin top tubby on ebay today.... They are such reasonable prices now due to the misplaced love people have for T-Bars. I'm sure I'll be getting one to compliment the MX5 in the winter as I think i'll be able to put enought pennys aside for the purchase by then, also now got room to store one off road.

Not a big fan of the Rev3 spoiler either but quite like the lights. You should go for a white Rev5 spoiler with a carbon blade :thumleft:

Rev 2 lights are the best IMO make the car wider and meaner from the back

Welcome back though mate, nice MR2 8)

Has anyone gone with Rev2 lights and a smooth centre panel (like you have with the Revision6)? :-k
