Re: The MR2 Beaulieu Rally 9th-10th June
Hopefully eveyone enjoyed themselves.
As usuall very difficult to keep so many cars together on a run!

We will probably be arranging something similar next year but without the Beaulieu Museum and maybe a few more meeting points!
Now we
are more familiar with the area, it should make for a bigger and better meet next year

PS Hope to see loads of you at JAE

Re: The MR2 Beaulieu Rally 9th-10th June
Just got back from the run after doing exactly 395 miles from when i left home on Saturday morning
, i personally want to thank the organisers of this superb run, i thoroughly enjoyed it
& meeting friends both old
& new
& putting faces to names
we had a great turnout of both MK1's
& Mk2's, its a shame the MK2 crowd didnt hang around a little longer
, as Steve said, we hope to plan a run like this next year
& build on the success of this one.

If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

Re: The MR2 Beaulieu Rally 9th-10th June
Sorry we missed out on day two, but it seemed a bad idea to risk boiling up again in another queue of traffic.

Made it home OK, 70mph all the way, keeps the airflow OK.

Will be ordering a new thermostat and fitting it in time for Bromley.

Great to see everybody.
Nice to have a run that goes somewhere where there's stuff to see.

Toodles

Karl

Re: The MR2 Beaulieu Rally 9th-10th June
Got home late last night after making a detour to the parents.
.
.
Big thanks to Ian for organising it, it was a fantastic weekend.
.
.
440 miles since leaving home on Friday, but definitely worth the cost!!!

Sorry I didn't join you guys for part 2 either
- I wanted to but forgot my piece of paper with the locations at home, Kev had already left the campsite and no-one else was going from the campsite.
But given the drive I had on the way back, it didn't matter that much.
.
.
A and B roads all the way up to the parents.
.
.
via Winchester and a number of small villages, with the roof off.
.
.
was brilliant.
.
.

Anyway, the run on Saturday, plus my first time to Beaulieu meaning I had a good look around.
.
.
followed by the camping.
.
.
it was a fantastic weekend.
Really enjoyed it! A bit tanned now though.

Got some photos, but they're on the camera which is back at home.
When I get back in from the office later today
(if I have energy!) I'll see about uploading the highlights.
.
.

Re: The MR2 Beaulieu Rally 9th-10th June
Was a great turn out thanks to everyone who came to make it a great day.
Also thanks to the other SE organisers for making this a success.
As I think if we can make this a permanent date for New Forest event would be good maybe a camping weekend next time and Brewery vist to stock up on supplies?
Sorry didnt make the Sunday but still got things to organise for next weekend.
Where did everyone go on the Sunday drive out?

Looks like you all had a really great run.
I was gutted i couldn't make it, as its ages since i have seen a lot of the southern crowd.

On the other hand we have replaced the SC's HG, and just need to put a few bits back together ready for anglesey.

Shame you wheren't feeling too good

First time i have been to an event other than JAE, with 3 SC'S.

Mine wasn't running right, then we found a huge split in one of my intercooler pipes, sorted that and then it ran far better!!
