i did go but only ended up there by luck really.i was on my way to the vauxhall show at santa pod and noticed a lot of jap cars going the other way.so i went and had a look.i did see your car leeroy, looks cool.my mates red evo 4 was on the track first thing and looked really fast but he could not drive well as he has had no trackdays.the rouge mr2 looked good and stayed ahead of a few cars.i got burnt and to hot, could not sit in the many thousand of seats in the stands and got pi$$ed off and went home early .the drive there and back was nice though just using the torque to overtake the sunday drivers :)

I look like a lobster!

Pretty good day in all, despite the engine cover fans packing up and my oil temps soaring to 120 degrees!

I learned that my car is far more capable than me at the moment.

Great to see everyone, and catch up with a couple of new faces.

Pics and vids to come later (if I can keep my eyes open - I'm knackered!).

Hey Mike, how did you get on mate? I timed you at a high 1.12, but heard the commentator say something about you doing a 1.21!

Was that due to the CC resevoir cap coming off and temps soaring? Not surprised if it was. It was f**king cooking on track! I dropped a whole dress size in that car...

Can't remember who I said hello to now but hello again. I'm a nice shade of burnt red.

Mike ran a 1.09.xxx on his final run which wasn't bad considering the poor geometry of the car. I've the in car lap timed on my pc. Do I upload it to youtube or let Mike vet it first? :-k

PS: Did anyone else see the mk2 mr2 trd ferrari spyder? My life.

OK here's some ultra low quality web friendly pics. The full res versions look much better obviously. Anyone wanting the originals please just drop me a PM, each pic is approx 2.5mb.

Important ones first:
