Hi all,
I'm looking to replace the front light cluster with some clear lenses. My car is a JAP import, so has the orange toblerones on the side.
Are there any clear lenses I could use to replace the orange ones ? Or am I looking at having to mod the wing with some UK spec ones?
Advice appreciated.
Cheers
I still can't believe no one has developed this product yet (ie clear toblerones), I can't imagine them being any more difficult, labour intensive, or costly than the fabrication of the clear front lenses which so many places supply. There would certainly be a market for it...
If some one manafacured them at a fair cost - say £35 - £40 a pair then patented them they would make an absolute killing.
So many people want them, no one can supply them.
surely there is something of another car that you could replace the toblerone with?
porsche 911 or boxster for instance - they have a clear indicator in that area that looks like it might fit
Has anyone tried 'tinting' theres ? Seen a few pics of MR2s with kind of smoked lenses ? Can't see it being hard to do ( Suits a black car ) any ideas what the legality will be ?
There the right size on the width but don't fit because there only 3" long and the toblerones are 5 1/2" long, i know because i bought them cause they were cheap
im in the process of getting a uk strip with no toblerones and cutting out a section to fit them in to see what there like ,they look quite good because they are shaped like the toblerones are
cool, i was wondering if someone had just bought a set to see if they fitted cuz they are so cheap, was going to buy some myself...think i'l tint mine to see what they turn out like, i'l post up pics when ive done it, but wont be for a few days
