Tubby transplant, NEW VIDEO CLIP!!

Post by Lewis Jay »

Well its been a while, I bought the rear clip way back in October last year.

Then I got sent to Iraq so now I`m back and its well under way.

Infact its nearly completed, put the engine in today and added few choice mods within my budget, should be a runner this weekend. (Hopefully  )

Heres a few taster pics for now.

Yeah pretty much on my own. Got a large workshop to myself though so that helps.

Have had the odd hand now and again when someone floats through work. (Everybody is on leave/holiday after Iraq).

My main probelm will be trying to re-pin behind the dash so I can fit the Rev 2 dash in the car (Rev 1), but thats awhile away yet and I`ll worry about it once I get to it. ](*,)

Just want to hear it running now.

I defo wouldnt have done this without all the hints, tips and links I have found on IMOC.

Exhaust seems very low at back think I may have to get it adjusted co`s it will defo hit the floor over speed bumps.

That looks like a very nice '2 from this angle! Like the rev 6 lights - which exhaust is that - rev6?

Well its MOT time on Tuesday, .

Once its passed I might finally be able to get out of second gear as the road I have tested it on isnt long enough. :-k

Wish me luck.
