Silver Mk3 on the A12 northbound near Ipswich. TRD badges on back, decent looking exhaust and shiny alloys.

Heh, only just found this post, sorry for the late reply!
That was me! I have no idea why I didn't think of checking the IMOC forums, it was pretty obvious that you were a member of one of the MR2 clubs as your car looked absolutely amazing.
I'm not turbo'd(at least, not yet: got my kit on order though), I was trying desperately to keep up with you though!

I thought it must be soemone a long way away as you didn't reply. Where abouts you from?
That seemed quick for Mk3, never battled one before though.
The old gal is looking a bit sorry now with 12 year old paint 
, but should be getting a respray soon

I'm from Braintree, in Essex. Was on my way up to see the missus who lives in Lowestoft, and I can usually be found on that road just about every Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening.
I wasn't entirely sure if you were N/A or turbo, but I sure as hell found out when I pulled over to let you past...
As if it wasn't bad enough trying to keep up with you, I also had a CTR trying to undertake me... T'was a fun 10 minutes!

Han't seen many decent Mk3's around my way, and I saw the TRD badges and exhaust so guessed it must be a good one.
Got it running a lot better now, got some great advice off my mate on setting up my AVC-R and it drives so much smoother now

hey Ekona.... we are doing a rolling road day near you on Sunday 12th June - see the events section if you are interested - so far upwards of 30 MR2's in attendance !
