Got my window tints done..

are the driver and passenger windows done too? don't look that dark hoping to get mine done soon

I was pi$$ed off about that, but they showed me a test indicator for the new law and that is the darkest the new law will allow, compared to what my rover was i started to think was there any point to the side windows.

Oh well there goes £50 down the drain

Just because its darker doesnt mean its allowed , remember that story of that
family down in brighton who bought the car tinted as standard set by the manufactures... they ended up with No car, and it towed away it was in the daily mail

Definitely go for the colour-coded splitter & sills - makes the car look so much more up-to-date (& lower!). Don't forget if you do the side strips you'll lose the lettering (if this bothers you, not everyone likes it anyway).

As for the tints, sorry IMO unless all the side windows are done it just doesn't look right. It just gives the car a very unbalanced look to my eyes. Mind you, the only time I drove a car with dark tints was on a rainy night and I absolutely hated it - I felt really unsafe not being able to see out properly. I can sorta see why they're restricting it now.
