Paint Code!

Where the hell do I find my paint code on my mk2 rev1? I was in halfrauds carpark, checked all the numbers that looked like they could be paint codes, and couldn't find the code in the halfrauds paint book! I don't think i've found the right info can someone tell me where it is?

(The car is a uk and its a dark red colour!) just incase they don't actually make paint for it!

Its on a plate on the front bulhead behind the radiator under the front bonnet.
It will be a number, letter, number
example 3J6
thats red and it could possibly be yours.
