I have a very, very early Mk1a for sale.

Chassis number in the 12000s, so one of the first in the country.

First registered 20/3/85.

The official colour according the original service record book is

'fine metallic beige', but gold sounds better.

Bodywork was done

(new rear arches, boot lid, rear arch protectors) and all professionally painted about 4 years ago.

Floor extensively welded about 3 years ago.

Some rust on bonnet, and 1 or two small bubbles elsewhere.

Very original car, in unusual standard colour.

MOT'd this week.

Runs very well, but took it for a run between washing it today ready for Rockingham, and the exhaust started blowing in the flexible pipe

(Mongoose stainless system), so the centre pipe needs replacing.

Will go to Rockingham anyway, with blowing exhaust.

The world record attempt needs every car!
Original wheels, interior, radio, front bumber etc.

Very original car in all respects.

All working electrics, 5th gear good.

Current owner last 9 years.

Not sure about the mileage

- the dashboard has been replaced during its life.

Fair amount of history.

See us at Rockingham or contact me at
[email protected] or on 07 then 986 followed by 506771.

Located in Silverstone.

Looking for

£2000, but make me an offer.

Best offer in next 2 weeks or so secures it.
