wlecome to the club mate and take it easy, well for a while at least
looking at about 100-150 for a decent turbo timer, as for a dump valve, your car already has one so i assume you mean a vent to atmosphere dv? can pay anything from 80 - 250 though just make a noise and offers no benefit whatsoever, can even make your car run worse with your car being a rev1/2?
You already have full membership mate :D , imoc is a non paying site, well for the moment anyway

reducing intake temps by not dumping hot, post turbo air back into the intake makes no difference eh? :-s

No evidence I'm afraid, but you are dumping hot post turbo air back into the intake!

I prefer not to do that tbh, so I run an Atmos BOV

Post by markmilward »

what induction kit do u recomend, had an itg on the fto?
markmilward

what bhp

Post by markmilward »

so what soet of horse power am i running at the mo, its completely standard?
eddy simpson

dump valve

Post by eddy simpson »

this seems to be a touchy subject, in my opinion the oe bov makes the car run better and slightly more responsive but not that much to make me stick by it and not change it at all. i had a blitz ss dump valve which gave me a bit of hassle with idle at times, but since ive fitted the hks bov its been great!!! :) [/i]
