Is it possible to sand the standard rear cross brace and get a nice polished effect from it?

its steel so will rust

Wasn't sure on the metal used. By the way, how are you going about filling the holes on your rear wings?

slowly... 
just holes on the rear quarters as i got a rev3 lid, had a quote for £250 to get it all done and painted. Thing is it won't make it faster, stop better or handle better so i keep kind of buying other things and the paint keeps going to the back of the list.. going to get full new discs and pads next payday, so maybe the one after that... 
the red spoilers growing on me....
girlfriend won't go in the car untill its painted... says it makes the car look like it should live on a council estate...
