Some cars do seem to attract more than their fair share of onanists

You can't really knock the evo... there very capable cars.

Sometimes they fill you with a little to much confidence though..... as i found out in mine

Just as well you replaced it with a toy car, you obviously can't handle a real car ;)

I love the EVO6 onwards but the owners are tarred with the 'I cant drive so I need a car that drives for me' badge. I beat an EVO8 GSR all the way from the off in my MG Maestro........twice. Even better when you consider how hard it is to launch a car with t34 8v torque an open diff and road tyres.

Agreed  .... In all honesty though that thing gripped like fook... but for some reason on that day at that time it just decided it didnt want to play anymore... God knows why. And thats the thing about them, 99% of the time they will just do what you tell them, They lure you into a false sense of security... then BAM!!! Your havin it.

Still one of the best cars i've owned.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that response and don't know how to respond. I guess I can only direct you to the FAQ

ive had it with evo fellas when i was in my yaris, keeping up with them on the b-road wasnt enough (i know hard to believe right?) I needed mor power on the straights to show these 4wd idiots that they are not invincible.

I know a guy who used to have an elise and i used to give him whippings and whippings. he bought an evo 330 the other day, waiting for the chance to see how i fair with less transmission loss ;)

but yeah, most evo drivers are too stuck up their own arses!!

Reminds me of my 106 GTI, okay it's not in the same league as an Evo but it did handle and grip really well, this was helped by the fact it was lowered on Toyo's. However, one day when taking a roundabout at speed the back end just decided to let go and I ended up over-correcting the skid and ending up in a hedge. I just got too confident. With the MR2 you know you have to concentrate at all times and that's part of the thrill factor.

i had a blat with an '07 plate FQ330 a few days ago, i couldnt keep with him past about 60 and he had quite a few car lengths on me, when the time came for me to leave he hooted and gave a wave, seemed fairly reasonable to me! but yes, have come across a few t*ts driving them.
