Glad to hear you are also a biker like myself. i still have the bike which is one of my other passions and there is nothing finer on a summer day than either the 2 or the bike for a easy run.

Fair weather biker really. only did about 300 miles in total last year on the bike.

That run you hve suggested sounds just what the doctor ordered and if that dont get the 2s out nothing will.

I have advised my brother and if he is not off shore he will also be with us in his mk2.

Yes that sounds good to me maybe we could head up to Huntly some time soon to meet. It is not that far, but it will have to be a nice day as i ain't going to take the Mk1 out on roads that are full of salt for the obvious reasons. how does that sound. By the way i got the deal of a lifetime, bought rear shocks ( Gabriel inserts) from the USA. $29.00 postage was $43.00 That's about £35.00 they arrived on Monday hope to fit this weekend

Hi Guys, have just popped over from the MR2oc after seeing Colins post there. I've been wondering for a long time why there aren't any Aberdeen meets as there are a lot of MR2's (mk1/2/3!) in the area!

Ill be there had a drive over the cairn on Sunday just to blow the cobwebs away awesome, got down the other side and followed the road to Auchenblae another great road for the Mk1.

The meet is on at Asda Car Park at Beach in Aberdeen on 5.5.07 at 12.00noon.

Bill is going to then lead us over the Cairn etc which will be a graet run

Will definitely be there My trip to the Cairngorms recently via Ballater then accross the lecht was an awesome drive which has really got me in the mood!
