The back end looks nice, looks just like a black strip wrapped around. Wing mirrors, not my cup o tea.

Hrm,
The Japan at war flag has gotten me thinking. In my first Jeep (1977 DJ5D off of Pearl Harbor's docks) I started putting "kill" tags along the front wing of things I had destroyed. I had a washing machine, a tree, a couple of fences, and even a 240 Volvo icon there by the time I sold the jeep on. (I was young and most of the stuff destroyed was abandoned or friends stuff thus consequence free)

Any one think of doing this to their tubby? Putting on the logo of the other car?

He is. A lot of people who want dark rear lights do that mod, and it works a treat.

Dark rear lights aren't for me but it looks great in the picture there :thumleft:

Yeah the tights on the lights mod is an age old method for tinting with easy removal. Can get all sorts of colours and finishes too by doing it this way.

kills

Post by Ja99a »

I was thinking of putting kills on my door, kinda like the manufacturers shopping lists you see, using the outline of a car that I have beaten an the strip.

I thought it would be fun as most of the guys I go to the strip with are friends and would wind em up.... Then I reconsidered and thought it might look a bit pap....

My missus has 2 coppers in her close. One is a traffic copper the other an armed response unit (not meant to know that bit :-$ ) - none of them have ever pulled her up about her lights. Thankfully I think its a little "small fish" now a days for them to be that picky. :D

pmsl, never heard of an MR2 being called a "small fish" befor and it would be a bit ott for an armed response unit
