has anybody done this themselves?? If so how did it come out? have you any pics and guide??

Also has anybody used one of them halfrauds kits? was this any good?

Get it done professionally, it will only cost about £40 per rim. I was thinking of using these guys to restore my original 5 spokes.

I would say do it yourself mate.
Its not particularly difficult and costs a fraction of the price of getting it done proffesionally.
I have done 2 sets now, one were split rims, and the second set were rev 3 alloys.
Its much easier if you take the tyre off first, but have a look at the pics, i did these myself. If you want me to explain the way to do it just ask me and ill post it for you.

Hi,

I was thinking of giving it a try, I need 3 doing so it would cost me over £100 to get done.
If it turns out crap on one wheel I will then just pay to get them done professionally.

Would it be possible to explaing the way you did it??

Also have you any pics of the split rims you did?
