Try skyline insurance, they are really good and if you pay an extra £35 you can get an agreed value on your car, if you modify it parts get replaced like for like.

I'm 23 with 1 years no claims and Elephant gave me it for £734 fully comp.

Thats for a UK '94 NA T-Bar valued at £5000 parked on the road! Not bad I thought! \:D/

I noticed as well that if you put a more experienced (6+ years) driver on the form it brings it down a bit.

Just go to www.elephant.co.uk and follow the links for the car insurance quote.

Let us know how you go! :thumright:

Your right, it is 5+ years that they have as an option. I saved £70 by putting my dad on the policy............not that he's ever going to get behind the wheel - compared to his Fiat Brava :-$ it would pull his arms out!

but dude, did you also notice on your forms you got from them that they DONT state the value of the car!
i am very concerned about this fact!
as when doing the online form, i gave my car a value of 4k and 5k, and boths quotes came out the same!
if the worst happens, i really think that they gona give me about 2k for the car!!!

I've spoke to them about this and they reckon they will pay out the market value of the car, I assume they mean for a standard car.

I had a little Escort for a runaround for a while and they asked the value and I just said put it in as £0 as I wouldn't claim anyway as I only paid £250 for it. They said they needed to put a value in of some sort but they would still pay market value should I claim against it.
