Can you suggest an aftermarket wheel ?

Post by CosmosblueMR2 »

I will sell my wheels (see profile) to anyone that wants them if I can source my dream set of wheels.

Im basically looking for a 5spoke split rim (chrome on the rim) with 5 decent thickness spokes.
something like this - BUT - I want 8J rears and 7J fronts to fit 245/35/17's & 215/40/17's as i have now.

Lenso17" RS5 Hyper Silver
Can anyone suggest where i can get the above or anything similar in 8J rears and 7J fronts?
what do people think of the above rim / make ?

thanks for any feedback - cheers Frank. :D

Thought Lenso were not split rims, just made to look like split rims, Racinghart do decent split rims but you will be looking at about £2000 for the rims.

these are my personal fave 5 spoke split rim design - SSR GP http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cf ... 26&manu=96 available at Envy, dont think they are cheap and maybe not as thicked spoked as your after!

Ive bought Lenso KR5's for my mota but be warned that they only do a 7J rim.. no wider!..

Who cares though.. i have Toyo 235's on the rear.. and they handle fine and i know people who have been running that setup for years on the tubby with no issues..

Frank, try the Veilside Andrews Evo or Andrews racing. They are deep dished 5 thick spoke, and the most beautiful wheel i've ever seen
They are shown on the Veilside site, but are around £6-700 per corner when I enquired for 18" for my TRD conversion
